Here are a few of the things we’re often asked.
If your question isn’t answered here, drop us an email and we’ll get right back to you.

Is Branches open to the public?

Absolutely! We’re delighted to welcome everyone to our Bayswater showroom, just 10 minutes from Perth’s CBD.

Why should I consider artificial trees and plants?

There are plenty of reasons to use our artificial trees, plants and florals. And the most important are about giving you more free time, saving you effort and saving you money!

  • We choose to offer you only the highest quality products available, importing many ourselves
  • There’s no need for watering, so a great cost and labour saving with no mess
  • Our product looks great all year round – no ‘off season’!
  • No need for you to worry about pests or diseases – or expensive sprays
  • No pollen concerns if you’re an allergy sufferer
  • Very little maintenance required – perfect for all you frequent travellers
  • No sap or poisonous berry hazards for your children or pets
  • Our trees are fully grown – there’s no need for you to wait!
Can I buy loose stems, rather than a complete arrangement?

Certainly. We stock over 400 varieties of flowers and greenery to help you unleash your creativity. Or if you prefer, you can select your own flowers and our in-house florists can create a bespoke arrangement for you.

How long will it take to have a custom arrangement made?

Generally our team of florists will have your arrangement ready for you to pick up within just a couple of days.

Why aren't there prices on the website?

Branches isn’t an online store – we’re proud of our bricks and mortar. We want our website to inspire our customers, so we showcase our range (not all of it – it’s too large!) and provide plenty of images of our products.

Our customers tell us they really enjoy visiting our Bayswater showroom, so that they can touch and compare our beautiful trees, flowers and arrangements – often leaving with something quite different to what they’d imagined!

If you’d like a price (or more details) on a specific product shown on our website, you’re welcome to use the ‘enquiry’ box, which pops up next to each product. We’ll get right back to you.

Can you deliver my trees or floral arrangements?

Most of our trees and arrangements will fit into an average-sized car. Trees and planters can be provided separately. If you prefer, we can put you in touch directly with our friendly, experienced and efficient delivery partners.

Can I hire trees and flowers for a special event or for my workplace?

Due to the delicate nature of our beautiful products, we unfortunately cannot offer a rental service.

Can I put my artificial trees outside?

Our trees are very suitable for balconies, patios and alfresco areas, where they might be exposed to limited sunlight. Our product is of the highest quality, and the foliage will withstand some exposure to sun.

However, unless we state otherwise for specific products, our trees are not designed to be continually exposed to the fierce W.A. elements, especially constant sunlight (ultra violet light) and salt-laden wind.

While many of our products will actually perform well outdoors, every situation or location is different so we cannot offer guarantees or promises that we simply can’t keep.

Constant exposure to direct sunlight will amplify the effect of ultraviolet light, and the product’s foliage may become brittle and its colour will fade over time. Exactly what that timeframe might be is practically impossible to predict. Ultraviolet light is the enemy of many synthetic or plastic products outdoors, such as garden hoses, house paint and clothes pegs which all deteriorate over time.

We prefer to be very clear and upfront on this question, as we believe no one should promise the impossible. There is no permanent solution – it does not exist.

How should I best look after my floral arrangements or indoor trees?

It’s really easy for you to keep our beautiful products looking great, but there are a couple of things to be aware of.

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight (especially magnified through glass) can – over time – cause colour fading in delicate materials.

Dust is probably the other biggest issue, as – if allowed to build up – it can make leaves and petals look dull and lifeless. A feather duster is perfect for removing dust from arrangements, while plant and tree leaves can be gently wiped with a damp microfibre cloth. If trees are in an alfresco area, they can even be gently sprayed with a hose mist.

It’s really worthwhile to spend a few minutes removing dust occasionally – it’s a small price to pay for vibrant, lifelike colour, with no wilting or watering.
